Our Story

Our story isn't overly complicated. Understanding the following three things will tell you a lot about us, where we are headed, and what your experience will be like if you choose to join us. 

We help the little guy

• Deep respect for entrepreneurs and small business owners. It is diffcult but rewarding. Friends and family members that run small businesses. Heck, even us.

• Solve a real problems that already exist. Our thoughts are to build tools that make you better at what you already do. So, our solutions help you solve what is important business goals you have. 

We create simple and useful things

• Software and hardware. To connect the physical and digital world.

• Complexity, indecision, and waste are just huge pet peeves.

• I am not sure why people love to overcomplicate things, and waste time doing things that they think will help. but the reality is most stuff doesn't have to be so complicated.

• 90% of the value comes from only 10% of the activities. so we focus on those few small bets, when done really well that have a better impact. 

We have fun

• Life is better when you are having fun. We like to have fun at work, and we hope that we can help you have fun. Whether it means making TagXD fun, informative, or just so simple you can spend your time elsewhere. 

• We are intentionally self-funded. We don't have venture capital deadlines to hit, we don't have to grow super big, we don't have to upcharge you for stuff, and we don't have to start creating a product we must sell to large companies that no longer works for you. This freedom is fun for us, and of course helps us keep things fun for you. 

• We can build our passion and personality into TagXD and we don't have to adhere to "corporate best practices".

• We can do things that other companies can't or won't. Again, guided by our goals of Helping the little guy, creating useful things, and making life fun.
